  • During your first appointment I will collect information such as medication, lifestyle and medical history to create a treatment plan that works best for you. Whether you require nail cutting and filing, corn or callus removal, footwear advice or diabetic checks, I will treat these in the first appointment and advise how often you should be seen routinely following this.

    I may perform the following checks within the consultation;

    • Doppler ultrasound to check circulation

    • Monofilament sensory test to check for any sensory loss

    • Check footwear to ensure this is appropriate for your needs

    • Refer you to relevant healthcare professionals if needed

    You will receive a new patient form beforehand that I kindly ask is filled out by yourself or caregivers before I arrive so that I can spend as much time with you to talk about your concerns and to treat any issues I can within the appointment.

    This may include but is not limited to;
