Zoë Bird, qualified and HCPC registered home visit podiatrist in Newport

Hi there 👋

My name is Zoe and I am a HCPC registered Podiatrist.

I studied originally as a Foot Health Practitioner and then went on to further my studies as a Podiatrist at Cardiff Metropolitan University; from which I qualified with first class honours.

I have been working in private practice for 5 years now, and I am really passionate about the patient-centred care I provide. It gives me great satisfaction to be able to relieve a patients discomfort, reassure any concerns and offer patient education on foot, ankle and overall health.

I also work in the following clinics:

FAQ’s

Please see commonly asked questions.

Please feel free to give me a call or send me an email if you have any questions not covered in my FAQ.

  • No, you do not need to do anything to prepare for the appointment, I only advise that you have a comfy chair you can sit in for the duration of the appointment. I have my own portable foot stool that I bring with me to visits and I can take your shoes and/or socks off for you if you have difficulty doing this yourself.

  • The appointment can range between 20-30 minutes depending on specific needs.

  • You’re welcome to pay with any method that is easiest for you. I accept cash and card. I have a portable card reader that I bring with me on visits.

  • The first appointment may typically take longer than routine appointments.

It helps to cover admin costs, time taken to collect information, diagnose and treat your problem or concerns.

Following the initial consultation and treatment, return appointments after this would be reduced by £5.

  • Due to potential traffic issues, travel time or running over with previous patients, I unfortunately cannot guarantee I will turn up at the exact time so I give a window of 2 hours from the time of your appointment booking to arrive at your property. I do try my best to stick to as close to the time as possible, however.
